Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for directing the respondents to refer the reference petitions under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (in short 'the Act') filed by the petitioners Annexures P4 to P12 to the District Judge, Kurukshetra for determination of appropriate compensation of the acquired land.
2. Upon notice having been issued, learned State counsel on instructions from Sh.Ashok Kumar, SDO, Construction Division No.4, Kurukshetra, has stated that reference petitions filed under Section 18 of the Act by the petitioners have since been referred to the reference Court under the Act. It was, thus, submitted that the writ petition has been rendered infructuous.
3. In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.
