Section 14(5)(a) in Tamil Nadu Hostels and Homes for Women and Children (Regulation) Act, 2014

(a)A manager or resident manager shall as soon as it comes to his knowledge that any person on the premises is suffering or is suspected to be suffering from a infectious disease, immediately, notify the Health Inspector of the area of the circumstances and shall at once isolate the person from coming in contact with the articles used by other inmates in the premises.
