(2)The owner, master and officers of the [mechanically propelled vessel] [Substituted by Act 35 of 1977, Section 5, foor " Stem-vessel" (w.e.f. 1.5.1978).] shall afford to the surveyor all reasonable facilities for a survey, and all such information respecting the [mechanically propelled vessel] [Substituted by Act 35 of 1977, Section 5, foor " Stem-vessel" (w.e.f. 1.5.1978).] and her machinery or any part thereof, and all equipments and articles on board, as he may require for the purposes of a survey.
