Section 9(2) in Karnataka Ports (Landing and Shipping Fees) Act, 1961
(2)Where ports are grouped under sub-section (1), the following consequences shall ensue, namely:-(a)the State Government may make rules with respect to the expenditure of the fund for the sake of the several ports of the group on the objects authorised by this Act and the Indian Ports Act, 1908; and(b)the State Government may exercise the authority under this Act and under section 34 of the Indian Ports Act, 1908, as regards all the ports in the group collectively or as regards any of them separately.
