Section 21(1)(xi) in The Chota Nagpur Rural Police Act, 1914

(xi)he shall supply any local information which the Deputy Commissioner or is expedient to employ police enrolled under the Police Act 1861 instead of village-policemen in any mining area to be specified in such notification and may at time withdraw such notification.
