Section 21 in The Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011
21. Suo motu summoning of documents. - Notwithstanding anything contained in these rules, the Appellate Tribunal, may, suo motu, issue summons for production of public documents or other documents in the custody of a public officer.
3.3.3: Powers and functions of the Registrar and related matters. - 1. The Registrar shall discharge his functions under the general superintendence of the Presiding Officer. He shall discharge such other functions as are assigned to him under these rules by the Presiding Officer.
