Section 21(1) in Allotment of Government Residences (General Pool in Delhi) Rules, 1963
(1)No officer shall share the residence allotted to him or any of the out-houses, garages and stables appurtenant thereto except with the employees of the Central Government eligible for allotment of residence under these rules. The servants quarters, out-houses, garages and stable may be used only for the bonafide purposes including residence of the servants of the allottee or for such other purposes as may be permitted by the Director of Estates.Provided that the officer shall send prior intimation to the Director of Estates in such form as may be prescribed by the Director intimating full particulars of the officer and his family residing in the quarter and full particulars of the sharer and his family.
