Section 3(1) in The Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Service (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1988
(1)These rules shall apply to every member of the Service but shall not apply to, -(a)any person in casual employment in the Service ;(b)any person subject to discharge from the Service on less than one month's notice;(c)any person for whom special provision is made in respect of the matters covered by these rules by or under any law for the time being in force or by or under any agreement entered into by the Board with the previous approval of the Government and by the Committees with the previous approval of the Board before or after the commencement of these rules, in regard to matters covered by such special provisions.
