Section 11(1)(c) in Multi-Storeyed and Public Buildings Rules, 1973

(c)The space specified above shall be kept open to the sky and free from any erection of any building other than a fence or compound wall, provided, however, that parking garages not exceeding 3 metres in height and subject to compliance with the stipulations of F.A.R. and access ways may in the case of sites abutting more than one screen on the wider of the streets and provided also that open yards may be used for the provision of open access ways to the building and parking facilities.
