Section 18(1) in The Techno India University, West Bengal, Act, 2012.
(1)The Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Board out of the panel of names recommended by the Committee consisting of the following members, namely:-(i)an eminent technologist to be nominated by the Chancellor;(ii)an eminent educationist to be nominated by the Chancellor;(iii)one member of the Board to be nominated by the Chancellor.
