Section 2(q) in Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council Act, 2005
(q)Satellite area" means the area or areas consisting of non contiguous cluster of villages predominantly inhabited by Sonowal Kachari community and having more than 50% Schedule Tribes population as a whole in the cluster and not necessarily in the individual villages;
