259. Delegation of powers by the State Government.
- The State Government may, by notification in the Gazette, delegate to the prescribed authority, in respect of any specified Zila Panchayat or Zila Panchayats or Kshettra Panchayat or Kshettra Panchayats any one or more of the powers vested in it by this Act.
