(d)to encourage, promote and conduct a system of education relevant to the studies of the Sanskrit literature with special emphasis on,-(i)the traditional relationship between the teacher and the taught (Guru-Shishya Parampara);(ii)methods of studies and experimentation in which discipline (anushashan) and self-study (swadhyaya) are fundamental components; and(iii)development of faculties, not only of empirical and rational knowledge but also of higher modes of consciousness;
