Section 3E in The Rajasthan Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1986
3E. Area of prospecting licence.
- No person shall acquire one or more prospecting licences for a particular mineral covering a total area of more than 50.00 hectares in the entire State.Provided that the minimum area to be granted or renewed under a prospecting licence shall be 5.00 hectares.Provided further that an area upto 100.00 hectares may be granted to an applicant who has already made an investment of Rs.5.00 crore in mining machineries and/or mineral based industry.
