Section 1 in Rajasthan Urban Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2011
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Rajasthan Urban Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2011.(2)It shall extend to all municipal areas in the State of Rajasthan.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.(4)The provisions of this Act shall not apply to the land, premises and trains owned and controlled by the railway.
