Section 56(1) in The Navy (Pension) Regulations, 1964
(1)The Central Government may at their discretion and subject to such conditions as they may determine grant a pension or gratuity or both to a widow who, by reason only of her having been separated from her husband at the time of his death, is not eligible for it under the regulations.
