The insured had completed the reinstatement of the building. Instead of double storied building, the insured is in the process of triple storied building. Till the time of the report, two storied portion were completed. The insured had modified the design of the building. For assessing the loss, We have advised insured to provide an estimate of reconstruction of similar building (pre fire specifications). An estimate of Mr. Brij Kishor Kabra was submitted. The estimate was further adjusted for the unaffected items.
For plant and machinery, FFF, Office equipments, insured agreed not to press for the claim. Hence, the assessment HAS not been done for these assets affected.7
eky ds laca/k esa fuEu vafdr fd;k gS %& Insurance Coverage of DPR Fabric under the policy of Insured "The insured had lodged the claim for DPR (rejected goods due to quality problems). The insured is having two policies. First policy is on Declaration Basis. We have verified previous declarations and found that the insured had only declared stocks of Grey and finished fabric only. Thus, the insured intended to cover Grey and finished fabric under this policy. The other policy was covering stocks in process. The DPR are the rejected goods and cannot be termed as stocks in process. Hence, we have not allowed the same in the assessment. It has to be understood that material which was sent for processing has been processed and returned to parties. On complaint of faulty processing the same goods have been sent back by Parties for reprocessing. Such material also would have to be treated as raw materials under separate heading. However insured has been noticing treating such materials as WIP and their declaration statement over several months do not reflect any such stock. Hence such stock has not been considered as having any insurance interest under the policy and the claim on such stock is disallowed.

Under this clause, the insured only suffers loss if, he pays to ultimate owner of the goods. The insurers are requested to ensure that the individual parties have been compensated for their loss.
The insured had not violated any of the applicable terms and or conditions of the policy.
We confirm that the reinstatement (to the extent payable under the policy) is completed by the insured.
