01. 1. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the description of the Opposite Party No.4 has been inadvertently wrongly stated. He is permitted to make necessary correction in Court.

2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the Opposite Party.

3. Being aggrieved by the alleged inaction of the Police Authorities in registering the complaint at Annexure-1 as FIR, the present CRLMP has been filed.

4. Considering the submissions of the counsel for the Parties, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Puri, Opposite Party No.3, to take a decision on the complaint of the Petitioner at Annexure-2 in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1978 and the law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Lalita Kumari vs. Government of U.P. & others, AIR Page 1 of 2 2014 SC 187, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order along with copy of the CRLMP.

5. Learned counsel for the Petitioner undertakes to submit the certified copy of the order passed by this Court and the copy of the CRLMP by registered post/speed post within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the certified copy.

6. If in the meantime, the grievance of the Petitioner has been redressed, the Petitioner shall be intimated the result thereof.

7. Liberty is also granted to the Petitioner to renew his prayer if his grievance still subsists.

8. Accordingly, the CRLMP stands disposed of.

9. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per the rules.
