Section 36(2) in The Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir
(2)[ A member of either House of the Legislature of the State belonging to any political party who is disqualified for being a member of that House under paragraph 2 of the seventh schedule shall also be disqualified to be appointed as a Ministerunder sub-section (1) or a Deputy Minister under section 38 for duration of the period commencing from the date of his disqualification till the date on which the term of his office as such member would expire or where he contests election to either House of the Legislature of the State before the expiry of such period till the date on which he he is declared elected, whichever is earlier.] [Inserted by the Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir (thirtieth Amendment) Act 2006.]
