(2)A list of such persons rendered surplus under the Government shall be sent to the Director, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, hereinafter in this part referred to as the Director, who shall, out of such list, select persons for posts in the service for each district and allot the persons so selected to the Committees to the extent of the vacancies existing in the Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishad concerning such Committees. A copy of the list sent to the Director shall also be simultaneously sent to the Head of the Department concerned.
