Section 36(1) in A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technological University Act, 2015
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, the University shall carry out research throughout the State to address the major problems of Technical Education, Engineering and Technology and Allied Sciences for the purposes of aiding the development of technical education and for the benefit of the mankind.
