8. Functions of the Chairman of the Ed.CET Committee.
- (i) Chairman of the Committee shall preside over all the meetings of the committee in his absence, he may nominate one of the members of the committee to preside over the meetings.(ii)The Chairman of the Committee shall be the competent authority to appoint paper setters and moderators for the entrance test and to decide upon the printing press or presses at which the papers are to be got printed.(iii)The Chairman may appoint a competent Officer to assist the Convener.
