(1)There shall be a Dean for each and every Faculty Council for Post-graduate and Undergraduate Studies in the University who shall be appointed by the Chancellor on recommendation of the Governing Board from amongst the existing teachers of the University.(2)Every Dean shall be the Vice-Chairman of the respective Faculty Council for Post-graduate and Undergraduate Studies and shall have such powers and Functions as may be provided for by the Statutes.(3)The Dean of every Faculty Council for Post-graduate and Undergraduate Studies may be removed from his office for such reasons and in such manner as may be provided for by the Statutes.
