45.
(1)All regular employees of the University shall be governed by the provisions of the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972, and General Provident Fund (Central Services) Rules, 1960, in respect of grant of pension and gratuity and general provident fund.(2)Any amendment made by the Government of India in the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972, and the General Provident Fund (Central Services) Rules, 1960, shall also be applicable to employees of the University.(3)In respect of commutation of pension, the provisions of the Central Civil Services (Commutation of Pension) Rules, 1981, shall apply.(4)The Vice-Chancellor shall be the pension sanctioning authority and the pension authorisation authority.(5)Pension payment shall be centralised and controlled by Comptroller's office.
