Section 2(6) in The Delhi Shops and Establishments Act, 1954
(6)"day" means a period of twenty-four hours beginning at mid-night:Provided that in the case of an employee whose hours of work extended beyond mid-night, day means the period of twenty-four hours beginning when such employment commences irrespective of mid-night;
