24. Proceeding under Chapter VIII of the Criminal Procedure Code not competent against child.
- Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) no proceeding shall be instituted and no order shall be passed against a child under Chapter VIII of the said Code.
