Section 28(5) in Andhra Pradesh Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Rules, 2014
(5)Where any excess amount is proved to have been paid to any person as a result of the correction made in an award under sub-section (1) of section 33 and such person refuses to refund the said excess amount paid to him, then such amount shall be recovered as an arrear of land revenue invoking the provisions of Revenue Recovery Act, 1864. Such proceedings shall be initiated within three years from the date on which the excess amount is found to have been paid.
