Section 82(2) in Tamil Nadu State Housing Board Act, 1961
(2)Any person who does not agree to the amount of the compensation awarded by the Tribunal for the land acquired for the Board under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894), or to the persons to whom it is payable or to the apportionment of the compensation mong those persons may, within sixty days from the date of the award of the Tribunal, prefer an appeal to the High Court:Provided that the High Court may entertain the appeal after the expiry of the said period of sixty days if it is satisfied that the appellant was prevented by sufficient cause from filing the appeal in time.
