Section 2(2) in The U.P. Harcourt Butler Technical University Act, 2016
(2)"Adjunct Professor", "Adjunct Associate Professor" or "Adjunct Assistant Professor" mean a person from academia, industry, trade, agriculture, commerce or any other allied field who is so designated during the period of collaboration or association with the University;
