The petitioners seek regular bail in case FIR No.0134 dated 26.08.2017, registered at Police Station Guhla, District Kaithal, under Sections 148, 149, 188, 427, 436, 124-A, 120-B and 394 IPC (Section 394 IPC omitted and Section 124-A IPC was added later on) and Sections 3 and 4 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984 (Section 4 of PDPP Act, 1984 was added later on).

The present FIR was registered in the aftermath of wide-spread violence in the State of Haryana after conviction of Baba Gurmit Ram Rahim. The allegations therein are regarding rioting, arson and robbery, apart from damage to public property.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been named on the basis of the statement of co-accused. They have been in custody since 27.08.2017 and that the investigation is complete therefore, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the petitioners in custody.

The aforementioned factual position is not disputed by learned counsel for the State.

Accordingly, the petition is allowed and petitioners, namely, Jasbir Singh, Madan Kumar and Balkar Singh, are ordered to be released on bail on their furnishing bail and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court concerned.
