85.
Vessels plying for hire with passengers shall be provided with properly constructed closets efficiently protected against the weather and of ample internal capacity of not less than 2-½ feet by 2-½ feet square and 3 feet in height for vessels below 50 feet in height and not less than 3 feet by 3 feet square and 5 feet in height for larger vessels. A clear passage shall be maintained to the closets and they shall be kept clean and in a sanitary condition at all times.
