Perusal of the impugned order dated 19.03.2010 reveals that petitioner was appointed on 09.12.1993 and her name figures at serial no. 2292 in the seniority list while name of Ms. Anju Uniyal figures at 2224 in the seniority list. It further reveals that one Renu Tripathi was given wrong promotion despite the fact that she was junior to the present petitioner in the seniority, therefore, her promotion was revoked.
Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that there are two seniority lists, one for Garhwal region and another for Kumaon region while in the impugned order, there seems to be one composite seniority list. He further contends that in the seniority list supplied to the petitioner under Right to Information Act, name of Anju Uniyal is not mentioned.
Learned Standing Counsel for the State seeks and is granted three days' time to obtain instructions and to make statement in this regard.
