Section 24(vii) in The Statutes of the Punjabi University
(vii)A teacher shall not ordinarily be entitled to house rent allowance/city compensatory allowance during the period of study leave. Provided that the Vice-Chancellor may, in view of the special circumstances of a case, sanction the payment of such allowances in part or in full.
