Section 3(1) in Gujarat Gas (Regulation of Transmission, Supply and Distribution) Act, 2001
(1)The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint an officer to be the Commissioner, who shall exercise such powers and perform such functions and duties as are conferred or imposed on him by or under this Act.
