Section 207(1) in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964
(1)Subject to the following provisions as to the right of Command, steps in rank given on or after retirement shall confer the right to the title, uniform, and other advantages of the higher rank.
