Section 16 in The Northern India Ferries Act, 1878
16. Table of tolls.
- The lessee or other person authorized to collect the tolls of any public ferry shall affix a table of such tolls, legibly written or printed in the vernacular language and also, if the Commissioner of the division so directs, in English, in some conspicuous place near the ferry.List of tolls. - And shall be bound to produce, On demand, a list of the lolls, signed by the Magistrate of the district or such other officer as he appoints in this behalf.
