Section 27 in The National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988
27. Employees of the Authority to be public servants.
- All members, officers and employees of the Authority shall, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or of any rule or regulation made thereunder ,be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
