Section 100(3) in The Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Rules, 1991
(3)Every tender for work to be executed by market committee the value of which exceeds Rs. 3,000 (Rupees three thousand only), but not exceeding Rs. 50,000 (Rupees fifty thousand only) shall be placed before the tender subcommittee consisting of not more than three non-official members of whom one shall be Chairman and two official members and its acceptance shall be obtained.
