Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner is an accused in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420/421 IPC and Section 69 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and has not committed any offence, as alleged in the F.I.R. It has been alleged that the petitioner, who is a stamp vendor, did not provide the stamp paper of Rs.10/- denomination to the informant, despite the fact that he was having several stamp papers of denomination of Rs.10/- with him. It is further submitted that the petitioner has never refused to sell any stamp paper, as has been alleged by the informant. In fact, the petitioner was busy in finalizing the details of yearly transaction, as the date of alleged occurrence was 31.03.2017 (the end of the financial year). The petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in judicial custody since 10.04.2017 and therefore he may be given the privilege of regular bail.

Learned A.P.P opposes the petitioner's prayer for bail. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the C.J.M, Ranchi in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 75/2017, corresponding to G.R. No. 1588/2017.

Satish/- (RAJESH SHANKAR, J)
