having an extent of 5.3 cents, situated at Kolathur Village, Kilpennathur
Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District by considering the petitioner's
representation dated 14.09.2020 within a time frame limit and for other
orders.

ORDER
The relief sought in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to grant patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to S.No.193/1, having an extent of 5.3 cents, situated at Kolathur Village, Kilpennathur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2020.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly made a submission that as per the Government Policy, the petitioner is entitled for patta in respect of the land in which he is in occupation. In this regard, the petitioner relied on the Government Order passed in G.O.Ms. No.318, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, dated 30.08.2019.
3.However, the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents, raised an objection by stating that pursuant to the orders of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No.36961 of 2016, dated 24.11.2016, actions are initiated by the authorities to evict the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 2/4 W.P.No.34253 of 2022 encroachers from the subject area which is classified as Government Paramboke and the land is being utilised for public purposes. Accordingly, all the encroachers were evicted on 03.03.2017.
4.This being the factum, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
