Section 50AA(1) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(1)The State Government may, by notification, remove a Mayor or a Deputy Mayor, who in their opinion wilfully omits or refuses to carry out or disobeys the provisions of this Act or any rules, by-laws, regulations made or lawful orders issued under this Act or abuses the powers vested in him.
