28. Restriction to the sanction of supply of water for purposes other than irrigation.
- [Section 21(2)] - The Irrigation Officer shall not ordinarily sanction the application if (a) he anticipates that the supply of water for the irrigation of the crops according to the approved crop-pattern will be adversely affected thereby, or (b) in his opinion the applicants have not made suitable arrangements to deliver the water from the point at which it is supplied to the place for which application has been made for supply, or (c) he has good reason to anticipate that the water will be used for the irrigation of crop, or (d) it is likely to produce conditions dangerous to public health.
