57. Regulations.
- Subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes and the Ordinances, Regulations may be made to provide for all or any of the following matters: -(a)the powers and functions of the Boards of Studies;(b)the functions and duties of Teachers' Councils in Universities;(c)the conditions for admission to the different courses of study and examinations of students;(d)the rules for the conduct of University examinations;(e)the courses of study and the division of subjects upon the recommendations of the Schools of Post-graduate and Undergraduate Studies concerned;(f)the minimum qualifications for the Teachers of the University as per guidelines of the University Grants Commission or any other appropriate authority;
