Section 7(1) in Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University Act, 1985
(1)The Government shall have the right to cause an inspection to be made by such person or persons as they may direct, of the affairs and properties of the University, its buildings, laboratories, libraries, museums, workshops and equipment, and of any college or institution maintained by the University, and also to cause an enquiry to be made, into the teaching and other work conducted or done by the University, or in respect of any matter connected with the University. The Government shall in every case give notice to the University of their intention to cause such inspection or inquiry to be made and the University shall be entitled to be represented thereat.
