(2)The Central Government may publish in such manner as it may think fit any report, [or copy] [ Substituted by Act 70 of 1976, Section 10, for " copy or extract" (w.e.f. 1.9.1976).] furnished to it under this section or under section 16.[17-A. Accounts and audit.-(1) The Central Council shall maintain proper accounts and other relevant records and prepare an annual statement of accounts, in accordance with such general directions as may be issued and in such form as may be specified by the Central Government in consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor-General of India.
