Information soughtand background of the case:
The Complainant filed an RTI application dated 18.09.2022 seeking information on following points:-
"RTI Application is annexed as pdf file for obtaining the desired information from the following offices - Points (1) to (4) pertains to O/o CPIO, 0/0 Regional Director (North), ASI, Delhi Points (5) to (10) pertains to CPIO, Vigilance Section, ASI HQ Points (11) to (21) pertains to CPIO, ASI, Delhi Circle. (1) Provide copy of the letter by DDE CD/ND of Education Deptt., GNCTD submitted to O/o Regional Director (North), ASI in the first fortnight of July
- 2022 for ex-post facto regularisation of illegal construction at Kotla Firozshah G (Co- ed) Middle School, Delhi. (2) (a) Copy of the response by O/o Regional Director (North), ASI to Education Deptt., GNCTD on the above mentioned letter. (2) (b) Copy of the response with annexures on my complaint forwarded by NMA to O/o Regional Director (North), ASI after 15-9-22.Page 1 of 3
(3) Inform date of providing information in r/o following RTI Applications -
(a) ALSOI/R/E/22/00121 dt. 20-03-2022 transferred online by Nodal CPIO
(b) ALSOI/R/E/22/00424/2 transferred offline by Delhi Circle (4) Inform date of decision of online appeal ALSOI/A/E/22/00086 dt. 19-
05-2022 by FAA (RTI).
Etc."
The CPIO vide letter dated 26.09.2022 replied as under:-
"1. As per available record of this office, no such letter is received from the Education Department.
2. As per available record of this office, no such letter is received from the Education Department.
2 b. As on dated no such letter has been received.
3. Reply has been sent on dated 16.09.2022. 3b. Reply has been sent on dated 26.09.2022.
4. Reply has been sent on dated 15.09.2022."
Aggrieved and dissatisfied, the Complainant approached the Commission with the instant Complaint.
A letter dated 14.04.2024 has been received from the Complainant whereby he has expressed his willingness to withdraw the instant Complaint.
Facts emerging in Course of Hearing:
Complainant: Absent Respondent: Mr. Naresh Chand, Dy. Superintending Horticulturist, O/o Regional Director (North) ASI and Ms. Debarati Mitra Rawat, Assistant Superintending Archaeologist - participated in the hearing.
An email dated 14.04.2024 has been received from the Complainant whereby he has expressed his willingness to withdraw the instant Complaint.
Decision:
In view of the request made by the Complainant, the instant Complaint is closed as withdrawn.
Complaint is disposed of accordingly.
