Section 17(1) in The Calcutta Improvement Act, 1911
(1)The term of office of the first Trustees appointed or elected under [sub-section (1) of section 4] [Words, figures and brackets substituted by W.B. Act 32 of 1955.] of section 8, other than the Chairman, shall commence on such day as may be appointed by the [State Government] [Words substituted by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.].
