This is a contempt petition filed under Sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for disobedience of the order dated 01.12.2022 passed in CWP-2619-2015.
There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the respondents has filed status report by way of affidavit of Dr. R.S. Dhillon, Director General Elementary Education, Haryana Panchkula. The same is taken on record. Registry is directed to scan the same and place it at appropriate place.
Learned counsel for the respondents has submitted that vide order dated 21.08.2023, annexed with the aforesaid status report as Annexure R-1, passed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court in SLP (Civil) No.9301-2023, further proceedings in the contempt petition has been stayed.

However, since Hon'ble the Supreme Court has stayed the further proceedings in the contempt petition, therefore, it would not be even appropriate to continue with the present contempt petition any more. Hence, the present contempt petition is dismissed.
However, the petitioner would be at liberty to get the petition revived in case the above-said order dated 21.08.2023 is ever vacated or the decision in the aforesaid SLP goes in his favour.
