Section 22(1) in Sakri Canals Irrigation Rules, 1952
(1)In the Kharif and Rabi seasons the Irrigation Department shall be responsible for making available for supply through the outlet the irrigation requirements of the leased area at the rate of flow as estimated at the accepted "duty" for such area but shall not be responsible for any silt clearance of the village channel needed in lengths outside Government land to induce such rate of flow through the outlet.
