Section 6(2) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(2)Wherever in this Act the expression "the standing committee" occurs it shall, unless the context otherwise requires, be deemed to refer to the particular standing committee to which the power or duty in connection with which tire expression is used, is assigned by this Act or by regulations made by the council; and all references to the standing committee in any other law shall be construed as references to the particular standing committee to which the power or duty conferred or imposed by such law is assigned by this Act or by regulations made by the council.
